The Birmingham Research Park is 4 miles from Birmingham City Centre, adjacent to the University of Birmingham campus and the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital. It is easily accessible by rail, road and air.
By train
The easiest way to get to the Birmingham Research Park is by train to University station. Trains to University station leave Birmingham New Street every 10 minutes.
Exit University station and turn right, go to the end of the road and turn right onto Vincent Drive. After passing the NHS Blood and Transplant building, the Research Park is on your right. When you see the Birmingham Research Park signs, turn right into the park. The Birmingham Research Park reception is the grey brick BioHub building.
By bus
Numbers 48 from West Bromwich, Bearwood and Harborne, X20/X21 and X22 from Northfield, Selly Oak and City Centre and 99 from City Centre, Harborne, Quinton and Halesowen stop close by
By car
Birmingham Research Park is accessible via the A38. Follow the signs to Selly Oak and exit at the sign for the QE Hospital.
After exiting the A38, follow signs to ‘NHS Blood and Transplant’, go straight on at the first roundabout, and then past the Hospital on your left (University train station will be on your right). The road you are now on is Vincent Drive and the Research Park is on the right after the NHS Blood and Transplant building.
From the south (M5)
Leave the M5 at Junction 4 (sign posted Birmingham SW) to join the A38.
From the north (M6)
Leave at Junction 6 (signposted Birmingham Central) to join the A38(M).
At the end of the motorway keep to the right, go over a flyover then through the underpasses to join the A38 Bristol Road.
Birmingham Research Park will be on your right, two and a half miles from the city centre. Follow signs to Selly Oak and QE Hospital.
From the east (M40/M42)
Leave at Junction 8 to join the M6 northbound and follow the instructions above.
Satnav
If you are using a Satnav to find your way to, please remember to put 97 Vincent Drive in as your destination. The postcode alone covers a wide area and Vincent Drive is a long road. Putting in 97 Vincent Drive as well as the postcode should help get you here!
Parking
Visitor parking is available in the lower car park, through the barrier and to your right. Use the intercom at the barrier to ask reception to let you in. Visitors must provide their registration number to Reception to receive free parking.
By air
The nearest airport is Birmingham International. The journey by taxi from the airport takes approximately half an hour. Alternatively, Air-Rail Link provides a free, fast connection between the airport terminals and Birmingham International train station.
Birmingham International train station has frequent services to New Street station in the city centre. From New Street Station there are trains every 10 minutes to University station.
